A mix of illustration, animation and product design realised in 3D using a variety of tools and techniques.

I have been an avid photographer for as long as I can remember. My current camera of choice is a Nikon D80, with several lenses and SB600 flash which is used far more then I ever thought it would. This gallery contains a wide range of shots from over the last few years.

Since my kids were born I haven't had much time or more importantly space to paint which irks me, but when I did have time it's great.

This is a series of icons created in Maya/Renderman for a Hadrian's Wall tourism project. Using 3D for the illustrations gave the added value of being able to have the animate when used on large screens.

Application design templates designs for a ophthalmic patient education system targeted at laser eye surgeries.

Where the rubber hits the road and everything comes together. I really need to add more stuff here when I get the chance. As an animator it took me a long time to appreciate the subtlety of the static image and the great number of things that I still have to learn.

A small selection of designs for print and web. There are a couple of pieces here I am really proud of both of which were for LaserVision. Graphic design is important if you want to learn composition and colour. It's also great if you love typography like me.
